I've learned the hard way that there are some very vehement atheists's on Gather-- and ' discussing ' issues with them is useless. They are very zealous in their 'faith' that God does not exist--and spend an awful lot of time and effort casting a bad light on a god they 'don't believe in' in the first place. ( I think you'll understand the comical irony in all that.)
